Individuals, parents, educators, clinicians, managers, supervisors, administrators, staff, and anyone who has or is experiencing symptoms of various types of addictions or addictive behaviors.

Anyone who knows of someone that they would like to help face and recover from addiction or addictive behaviors.

What will you learn:

• Diagnostic criteria of addictions; including, addiction to alcohol and/or substances, addictions to gambling, sex, Internet, and other common forms of addiction.
• Current psychological research pertaining to the nature of addiction and treatment outcomes.
• The etiology of addiction and addictive behaviors from a biological-sociological-psychological framework.
• Treatment options for recovery; individual therapies, family and group treatment, support groups, psychiatry.
