Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi
Psychotherapist, Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist

With a Masters Degree (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées, D.E.S.S.) in Clinical and Pathological Psychology, from the Université Saint- Joseph (U.S.J.) in Beirut- Lebanon, Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi has come to Dubai to join the Human Relations Institute in 2006.

After several trainings in reputable Lebanese hospitals and centers, as Hotel Dieu de France, Hôpital de la Croix (Deir el Salib) or Al- Sabil, Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi started working as a psychotherapist under supervision in the Institute of Medical and Psychological Assistance (I.M.P.A.).
After a while, she opened her private practice and performed as a psychologist in a school for children with special needs, the Guttenberg School. In the mean time, she was also a columnist for the most famous women’s magazine in Lebanon, Noun. /p>

In addition to her professional experience, Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi did five years of personal Psychoanalytical therapy with an affiliated member of the Psychoanalysis Society of Paris (S.P.P.). She also had her work supervised by a member of the same association, and was a part of the Psychoanalysis Study Center (C.E.P.) for several years.

During her university years, she worked with interest on several subject such as homosexuality and children’s expression thru drawings. But her most known study was is on “How Fairy Tales influence our love life”. She experimented on a population of men and women to whom she asked questions about fairy tales in their childhood, on the representation of life related to love or marriage, on what they expected compared to what they experiment in life (This study along with the one on children’s drawings is published at the U.S.J.’s library).

Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi also collaborates with journalists for some local newspapers and magazines such as Dubai’s Connector, the Khalleej Times, the Gulf News, Emirates Woman Magazine, and Arabian Woman Magazine.

Since she arrived to Dubai-UAE, Lisa Biasini-Traboulsi is working as a Psychotherapist and Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist for the HRI, in French, English and Lebanese.
